Privacy Policy

SpriteHop · Last updated: October 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SpriteHop (“the App”) collects, uses, and protects information. By using the App you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What the App Is

SpriteHop is a casual endless-runner arcade game for iPhone and iPad. The App’s core purpose is to let you play a game, collect coins, unlock critter skins, track your progress, and (optionally) watch rewarded ads for in-game benefits. The App does not require you to create an account, and it does not ask for your name, email address, or a password to play.

2. Information We Collect

We keep our data collection minimal. The information involved is:

a) Game progress and settings (collected by us, stored on your device)

This progress is stored locally on your device using the system key-value store (UserDefaults). At present the App does not send this progress to a server we operate.

b) Advertising information (collected by Google through the AdMob SDK)

See sections 5 and 6 below.

c) Optional Apple services

We do NOT collect: your name, email address, physical address, precise location, contacts, calendar, health data, or photos — unless a system permission you grant makes such data available, and even then it is not used for gameplay.

3. How We Use Information

We do not use your personal information to make decisions about you, and we do not use it for employment, credit, or housing-related decisions.

4. Coin Purchases and In-App Purchases

5. AdMob and Third-Party Advertising

The App shows rewarded ads using the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK. You choose when to watch an ad (for example, “Watch Ad to Continue” or “Watch Ad for +50 Coins”). You are only given the in-game reward if the ad is completed, and you can always decline to watch an ad and keep playing.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may:

Google’s use of the advertising identifier is governed by the App Tracking Transparency framework described in section 6. You can learn more about how to opt out of ad personalization in your device settings and in Google’s AdMob help pages.

6. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

7. How We Share Information

8. Data Retention

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the App at your own risk. Please protect your own device with a passcode and keep it up to date.

10. Children’s Privacy

SpriteHop is a casual game intended for a general audience, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 directly through the App. Because the App uses advertising, advertising identifiers may be used for children’s devices in accordance with applicable law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in section 13 and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Your Rights and Deletion Requests

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, or to request deletion of your personal information, contact us using the details in section 13. Because most of your game data is stored on your device, you can also clear it by deleting the App or by resetting your progress from within the App. If you asked us to delete data that we had shared with a third party (for example, Google), we may be unable to fully delete it and will rely on that provider’s own process.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated within the App. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Contact Us

If you have questions, comments, or a data request, please contact us:

For requests related to in-app purchases or Game Center, you may also need to contact Apple directly through your Apple ID account or Apple’s privacy site.
